Tan Giap How was practically born with a love for art. After enrolling in a local art school, he looked for a way to combine his two favourite passions – the arts, and creating an impact on people’s lives.
This drove him to his first job as a Visualizer and Designer. Many meticulously-cut mounting boards later, he rose through the ranks while serving in various agencies. The list includes TBWA\, BBDO, Saatchi & Saatchi, Grey Group and Publicis Communications.
He has since varied his craft, and grew it beyond the paper to creating work for new media spaces, including social, mobile and digital. His keen eye for the big idea combined with his approach to craft also enables him to deliver key integrated campaigns.
Throughout his journey, his experience involves a variety of clients, from global to local. Along the way, his efforts have brought in awards from various local and international festivals, including D&AD, Cannes Lions, The One Show, The Effies Awards, Spikes Asia, Adfest, and more.
Amidst all that, he still manages to find time for his favourite activity – going for walks with his son and daughter.
